Made by hand

Thanks for popping by.

I have a keen interest in experimental archaeology, exploring how things were once done or made. Based on the outskirts of the historic New Forest I’ve been working with silver, and some gold, since 2004. My passion is understanding how historic silver and gold jewellery was made, recreating the pieces and also making new modern pieces inspired by the styles and techniques of the metalworkers of the past. My current focus is jewellery of the Viking period (9 to 12 c), Bronze and Iron Age. To help fund this interest I sell successes, new creations and take on small commissions.
